This piece presents my abstract take on the ancient Altamira cave paintings from Spain, renowned for showcasing animals such as bison and horses. The original drawings featured red, brown, yellow pigments made from ochre, as well as black. I reimagined the artwork using deep burnt sienna, shiny copper mica, striking cobalt blue, pale gold, bright white, and iridescent graphite on a paint base of "Honed Soapstone”.
